Cucumbers and Other Gardening

On Friday it was clear that my lemon cucumbers and the globe basil that shared its container, were never going to get better.

So I restarted that pot with a few regular cucumber plants. Here is a photo of the new plants. I hope they fair better.

While I was at it, I also planted another pepper plant – this one is a chocolate pepper plant. It is in the middle of the blue pot in the photo underneath.

On either side of the new pepper plant are scented geraniums. They smell like citrus and are supposed to help keep the bugs away.

In the other pot are some new herbs including thyme (2 plants), another basil (the purple plant) and curry.
