Rain

plants

Although thankfully the sun is out today, we have had a ton of rain the last day or so. I don’t believe yesterday saw any sunshine.

I was worried about the vegetables on the top deck and how they would react to all the rain – but most seem to be no worse for the wear.

That is – most are okay – except the lemon cucumbers. They look very sad and dry. I don’t think that they are going to take.

Here is a picture that I just took of them. I circled the lemon cucumbers. The other plant in that pot is the globe basil plant. It isn’t doing too well either.

By contrast, here is a picture of the healthy sugar snap peas with Daisy.

BTW, Daisy is sporting her new Harry Barker Oslo collar that we bought her a couple weeks ago. Isn’t she cute?
